Where are you, Buffalo Bills fans? Super Bowl or bust?

Welcome back to our weekend chat, Buffalo Bills fans. It is our final Weekend Chat before the Bills play this Sunday, and I saved the biggest discussion topic for this weekend.

Is it Super Bowl of bust for the Bills this year?

The Athletic just released a poll of fan optimism, and Bills fans didn’t match their Super Bowl odds. So what gives?

My theory is that Bills fans think their team will make the playoffs, probably even think they will win the division, but they see the Super Bowl or championship as a little too far away in this transition year. In short, Bills fans are only going to be happy if their team reaches the Super Bowl.

I’m not black and white like that. Sure, if in the totality of Josh Allen’s prime, they don’t reach a Super Bowl, it will be a massive organizational failure. But in every one individual season, I don’t walk in with a Super Bowl of bust mentality.

But maybe you do. Let me know in the comments what you think.

Feel free to chat about this or anything else you might like in the comments section for the weekend. This is your place for fellowship.
