Milk: A taste test does Buffalo Bills players good

New Orleans Saints v Buffalo Bills

Milk then wind sprints. Deal?

The Buffalo Bills are in the midst of their summer break, resting up to ensure all’s well heading into training camp at St. John Fisher University come the end of July. As such, even the Bills’ social media team has had to find ways to keep fans engaged without any action or breaking news to fill their days.

Enter milk. Yes, milk — the magical bovine-based beverage we all know well — that’s here to fill at least a small bit of your afternoon Bills fix. Enough with the build-up!

Behold, some of your favorite Buffalo Bills engaged in a blind dairy taste test. It’s mostly milk, we promise. Yet, note that “mostly” doesn’t mean “all.” If you’re lactose sensitive or intolerant, the following may present itself similarly to “Double Dare” or “Fear Factor.”

Not even an actual milkshake?! It’s fair to guess that many people grew up on milk, but that a good percentage of folks didn’t experience the “udder” magic of whole milk — especially the freshest variety hand-delivered from your neighborhood dairy farmer. But, I digress.

Why would we take the time to share this video at Buffalo Rumblings? It’s full of fun, first and foremost. But a closer look reveals a healthy serving of camaraderie that could benefit the team moving forward in 2024.

As a leader, quarterback Josh Allen has one of the most approachable, engaging personalities within the organization. Almost anyone would buy a car or house from Allen. Be wary of Allen if he tries to sell you a timeshare in Florida or even a boat. Remember, there are two favorites days for any boat owner: the day the buy a boat, and the day they sell the boat.

In terms of engaging personalities, of course left tackle Dion Dawkins mirror’s Allen’s candor, but the wide receiver room is full of moxie. Rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman has already established himself as someone full of character, while K.J. Hamler could make a case for the roster based on his disposition alone. But don’t sleep on cornerback Kaiir Elam, who clearly understood the assignment in the clip above.

Though this fun bit of social media comes to you with a heavy dose of humor on my part, it’s refreshing to see that humor and a good sense of adventure are alive and well at One Bills Drive.

Now, who’s ready to go run some sprints? (Rumor has it that Rex Ryan snuck in to fix himself a snack.)
