Bills football (practice) is back!

The Buffalo Bills are back and ready to hit the football fields at St. John Fisher University in suburban Pittsford, NY. The official kickoff to 2024 training camp begins this morning, the first of 11 scheduled practices at Fisher.

Training camp in Rochester wraps up on August 8, with the Bills then heading back to Orchard Park, NY to prepare for a trio of preseason games ahead of the 2024 NFL regular season. Today’s session is certain to be a steamy one, with highs expected to hover around 84 degrees ahead of a potential storm system this evening that will usher in lower, more comfortable temperatures to close out the week.

Below is a list of the team’s training camp practices:

  • July 24 (Wednesday) — 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. EDT
  • July 25 (Thursday) — 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. EDT

  • August 8 (Thursday) — 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. EDT

Eager fans began shuttling in to Fisher’s camp first thing this morning, eager to get a first look at this year’s team. With so much change throughout the roster, there’s plenty to discover from personnel groupings, new names, jersey numbers, coaches — and of course finding out how reps are divided as each side adapts to new wrinkles in scheme.

Most everyone will be paying close attention to see how quarterback Josh Allen fares with an almost entirely new group of wide receivers, which includes rookie second-round pick Keon Coleman. Defensively, we’ll finally get a chance to see how edge rusher Von Miller looks another season removed from the ACL injury and what, if anything at this point, linebacker Matt Milano is able to take part in on a daily basis.

To attend each practice, a ticket (which are free) is required for each entrant. As a reminder, tickets sold out quickly during the initial on-sale at the end of June. Shuttle and parking information can be found here — please note that there is no general parking available on the Fisher campus. Alternately, you can find parking within the neighborhoods adjacent to the University, but be prepared to pay a premium for the convenience.
