The Shnowman isn’t afraid of a little cold weather

Recently, Bills Mafia’s favorite offensive lineman, Dion Dawkins, appeared on the The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports Radio. At some point, as it often does, the topic of playing in Buffalo’s cold, snowy weather was mentioned. As he so often does with great charisma, Dawkins was ready to give his answer.

“Buffalo’s weather can be...a little chilly,” Cowherd began. “You know, Keon Coleman’s a Florida kid. You’re a Temple guy. So do you tell some of those Florida/Texas guys when they come up: ‘Okay, now, our summer is about 12 days.?’”

Some laughter ensued and Dawkins chimed in with, “Maybe 10. Maybe 10 days. It gets cold quick.”

Cowherd then went on to ask Dawkins what advice he actually does give to players coming from warmer environments.

“I mean, they always say like: ‘How do you do it?’ I always say, the blessing of it is we could afford jackets. You could afford a nice jacket. So get you a nice jacket, make sure you start your car in the morning, and get your butt to practice. You’ll be alright.”

The two then went on to discuss how the people of Buffalo are some of the nicest around, Dion having a chip on his shoulder, and being thankful to his coaches at Temple.
