While former Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde isn’t sure about his playing future in the NFL—earlier in the week he said he’ll either play for the Bills or retire — today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by hearing from Hyde on why he’s excited to once again bring his popular charity softball game and home run derby to downtown Buffalo.

Micah Hyde excited for annual charity softball game

In its fourth year, the event benefits Micah Hyde’s charity, the IMagINe for Youth Foundation, which empowers kids facing financial hardships. Hyde is hoping to draw more than 16,000 people to Sahlen Field. Festivities begin at 9 a.m. EDT with the pregame plaza tailgate at the ballpark, with gates opening at 11:30 a.m. The Home Run Derby will start at 1 p.m., with the game to follow around 2 p.m.

Bills make changes to scouting staff

On Friday, the Bills made several role changes and brought on several new faces to their scouting staff, including promoting Matt Bazirgan from senior personnel executive to director of college scouting.
