We now know when this summer the Bills will report to Fisher
It may be two months away, but that’s not remotely too early to start getting excited for the Buffalo Bills’ 2024 training camp. The Bills have tossed us a taste of the camp details, confirming a few things fans should have expected.
This year’s camp will once again be held at St. John Fisher University, continuing to mark Rochester, NY as Bills territory. The team will report to camp on July 23, almost certainly amid a flurry of social media posts as players show off what they couldn’t live without and brought to camp. The first practice is scheduled for July 24.
One of the hallmark events of camp is already confirmed. The team’s annual offense vs. defense scrimmage, The Return of the Blue and Red will take place on August 2. This particular practice will be held at Highmark Stadium, which is also tradition. The event will be sponsored by Connors & Ferris and Ticketmaster, and tickets will be free.
Full schedules including times, and how to get your hands on the limited amount of free tickets will be announced at a later date. In their announcement, the Bills note that this is the 23rd training camp held at St. John Fisher University. If it weren’t for two seasons derailed due to the pandemic, we’d be hitting the quarter-century mark — which sounds like an epoch when put in those terms.
While every event during the offseason gets fans going, training camp is next-level energy as the team comes together and everyone gets the first glimpses of the season to come. New heroes arise. New legends are formed. Turkey burgers take center stage. What will 2024’s training camp bring us? We’ll have to wait and see. Which sucks.
