The NFL Draft is a little more than a week away, and Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has 10 draft picks at his disposal to address the various roster needs — which includes adding talent at wide receiver, defensive end, safety, interior offensive line and defensive tackle.

Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by examining the latest NFL mock drafts to see who the pundits think Beane will take at pick No. 28, including a wild trade up into the top 10 to land a replacement for wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Assessing the latest NFL mock drafts

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off next Thursday, April 25 in Detroit, MI, and running through the latest mock drafts, the consensus of the experts seems to be that Buffalo will use its first-round selection on a wide receiver. The list of names mentioned includes LSU’s talented tandem of Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr., Washington’s Rome Odunze, plus Texas’ Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy. Non-wide receivers mentioned as potential fits for the Bills includes UCLA edge rusher Laiatu Latu and Iowa cornerback Cooper DeJean.
