With more players and performances to watch than ever, who are you keeping eyes on?
The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine gets underway next Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. Beginning February 26 and running until March 4, all football eyes will be on the annual NFL event less than a month after the league wrapped up Super Bowl LVIII.
The days of uneventful offseasons from the fan side of the table are a thing of the past. In today’s NFL, fans are closer than ever to the behind-the-scenes action that plays an integral role in shaping rosters each season.
For Bills Mafia and fans of every other team, the first key will ignite one of the many engines leading up to the 2024 NFL regular season.
For the 321 eligible prospects who were invited to this year’s combine, the week will be one full of stress in potentially make-or-break scenarios. Beyond the gridiron tests, there will of course be isolated agility and strength measurements — and of course the gauntlet of interviews players undergo by scores of teams’ in-attendance personnel.
The nine position groups with players participating at this year’s event will be as follows:
- Quarterbacks (14 players)
- Running backs (29 players)
- Wide receivers (39 players)
- Tight ends (16 players)
- Offensive linemen (70 players)
- Defensive linemen (50 players)
- Linebackers (30 players)
- Defensive backs (67 players)
- Specialists (6 players)
Below you’ll find a spreadsheet with a breakdown of the players who are scheduled to be in attendance for each group.
In the event Buffalo Rumblings has boots on the ground at Lucas Oil Stadium, tell us who you’d like to learn more about from our vantage point. We’ll of course do our best to meet those requests.
Looking over this year’s invite list, who and what position groups are you most interested in watching perform? The Bills are certain to interview multiple prospects next week while in attendance. We’ll have to wait a few weeks (or sometimes into April) to learn who among those listed here spoke to scouts and front-office personnel from One Bills Drive about potential opportunities in Orchard Park, NY.
