Offering up observations and analysis as the Bills wrap up their offseason workout program.
On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills wrapped up their three-day mandatory minicamp at the team’s practice facilities in Orchard Park, NY, concluding phase three of the team’s offseason workout program.
The Bills will next get together as a team for training camp later this summer at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off with thoughts on the lessons we learned and the players who made a lasting impression at Buffalo’s mandatory minicamp.
Buffalo Bills conclude mandatory minicamp
Among the standouts from Thursday’s session was third-year tight end Dalton Kincaid, who made several impressive catches and continues to demonstrate that his offseason commitment to getting bigger and stronger is paying dividends.
Among the other takeaways and observations from mandatory minicamp: general manager Brandon Beane expects Pro Bowl running back James Cook “will be ready to roll” when training camp opens; despite a slew of spring injuries, the Bills think they will be at full strength at training camp; veteran cornerback Tre’Davious White endured some struggles during minicamp and the race to start opposite Christian Benford appears to be wide open; the backup quarterback competition between Mitchell Trubisky and Mike White bears watching; and depth players like linebacker Joe Andreessen, wide receiver Jalen Virgil and tight end Keleki Latu stood out in their efforts to make the 53-man roster.
