The Buffalo Bills are in first place in the AFC East but where do they sit in the AFC overall?

After the New York Jets lost to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday morning, the Buffalo Bills were already locked into the top spot in the AFC East coming out of Week 5. The Jets fell to 2-3 while the 1-3 Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots squared off; one of them would get to 2-3 while the other would fall to 1-4.

In this case, the Dolphins pulled it out. The Jets are 1-0 in the division, while the Dolphins are 1-1. The Bills and Jets square off on Monday Night Football in Week 6 with the winner atop the AFC East in the early going.

The Bills currently find themselves in fourth place in the AFC, but could have been all the way up to second with a win in Houston. The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated despite their struggles, but they face the San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Buffalo Bills in three of their next five.
