Buffalo Bills training camp officially opens this coming week, and we cant wait for actual fake football-like activities! During the final weekend without Bills football, what are you most looking forward to once training camp opens?
It’s a cop out to say “the coordinators” because both Joe Brady and Bobby Babich are in new roles, at least full-time. Brady had half a season to put his mark on the offense, and with Josh Allen at the helm, they will be fine either way.
I am focusing way more on the defense throughout camp. What’s going on at the safety position? Can Kaiir Elam carve out a meaningful role? What’s the defense end situation look like? Above all else, though, is will Sean McDermott let Bobby Babich call plays?
McDermott took away play-calling duties from Leslie Frazier in the past and named himself defensive coordinator a year ago when Fraizer left the organization. Can McDermott fully step back to the CEO role of the entire team and let Babich take the wheel on the defense?
