Plus, learn how GM Brandon Beane has made sure there is plenty of depth at linebacker
Before we get to the Buffalo Rumblinks, we’d like to wish all the dads a happy Father’s Day!
The Buffalo Bills are returning plenty of talent on their defensive line, including Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau, DaQuan Jones and A.J. Epenesa, and it’s up to new defensive line coach Marcus West to figure out how to get the most out of the Bills’ defensive ends and defensive tackles.
Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by examining how West is tasked with helping to maximize the talent on Buffalo’s defensive line.
Maximizing the talent on Buffalo’s defensive line
Last year, the Buffalo Bills finished fourth in the NFL in sacks (54) and were sixth in quarterback hits (110), but the defensive line sometimes struggled to consistently apply pressure on the quarterback, especially in Buffalo’s home AFC Divisional Round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bills are deeper at linebacker than in the past
Last year, the Buffalo Bills became perilously thin at the linebacker spot after Matt Milano, Terrel Bernard, Tyrel Dodson and Baylon Spector all suffered injuries at one point during the season. Entering this year, general manager Brandon Beane is doing his part to make sure the Bills have much more depth at the linebacker position.
