Plus, just how tough will Buffalo’s schedule be this year?
The Buffalo Bills will be the fourth team that wide receiver Chase Claypool has played for over the last three seasons, as the once-emerging superstar has struggled to find consistency since his electric rookie season.
Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by hearing from Claypool on why he’s looking forward to taking advantage of a “clean slate” and is excited to catch passes from quarterback Josh Allen.
WR Chase Claypool excited for ‘clean slate’ with Bills
Claypool, 25, is a former second-round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 49 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft, a big-bodied “X” receiver. Claypool enjoyed a great rookie season, catching 62 passes for 873 yards with nine touchdowns, but he has been inconsistent ever since his promising debut and has bounced around between the Steelers, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins. After the Bills signed him to a one-year deal in early May, Claypool is hoping to resuscitate his career in Buffalo.
