Everything you need to know about the Bills’ 2024 schedule

On Wednesday night, the NFL released the schedules for all 32 teams, and Buffalo Bills fans immediately began dissecting the schedule to see what portions of the season would be the toughest as Buffalo looks to claim its fifth consecutive AFC East divisional title.

Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks has everything you need to know about when and where the Bills will be playing during the 2024 NFL season.

Bills schedule released

We all knew the Buffalo Bills would, at least on paper, have a difficult schedule since the team is playing seven teams that made the playoffs last year, including both teams that made it to the Super Bowl (Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers) and the two runners-up in each conference (Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions).

In dissecting Buffalo’s schedule, the Bills will face an early gauntlet, with four straight clashes against AFC playoff contenders (the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans) and three of those games occurring under the bright lights of primetime.

All told, Buffalo will appear in five primetime games (either Thursday night, Sunday night or Monday night), have three straight road games in Weeks 4 through 6 (the first time that’s happened since the 2015 season), host the Chiefs and the 49ers sandwiched around their Week 12 bye, and close the season with three straight AFC East games vs. the New England Patriots (twice) and the New York Jets.

Ex-NFL referee John Parry joining Bills in advisory role

John Parry, a former NFL referee and ESPN NFL rules analyst, is leaving the network to take on an advisory job with the Bills, a move that could bolster Buffalo’s game-management processes relating to rules and replay.
